A medical assessment has been ordered for a Wallaceburg man accused of killing his wife.
The 94-year old was arrested on December 26th after the body of his 89 year old wife was found in their Margaret Avenue home.
No names hve been released to protect the victim’s identity, and any details presented in court are covered by a publication ban.
The suspect’s lawyer has asked for an assessment to be done to determine if the elderly man is fit to stand trial or if he can even be held criminally responsible.
The case will be back before a judge on March first.
