Chatham-Kent police arrested a Dresden man Wednesday after they say he tried to push a woman out of the car.
A witness called 911 and reported the incident in Chatham.
A short while later police pulled the driver over.
The woman was removed for her own safety and the 36 year old man was charged with assault.
He was released with a February 24th court date.
