The Chatham-Kent Public Library will be hosting a virtual author’s visit with the man who wrote a book that is very popular around the region.
Brock Greenhalgh is the author of ” Hard Road To Victory”.
It’s the story of the 1934 Chatham All-stars, an all-black team that was very successful on the diamond long before Jackie Robinson came along and broke the major league colour barrier.
C K Public Library is partnering with the Chatham-Kent Black Historical Society and Black Mecca Museum on the event.
The session with Greenhalgh will take place on Saturday February 27th at 10:30am.
It’s best suited for children 8 and up and adults are welcome.
