The Wallaceburg and District Historical Society is breathing new life into local history.

The organization has a new board of directors in place with some redefined goals, including collecting more significant historical material of Wallaceburg and the surrounding area; cultivating long-term relationships with the community, local schools, and businesses; and attracting more out-of-town visitors to the area.

The Society is also looking to recruit even more members for the Board as it prepares to reopen the Wallaceburg Museum by appointment only in the early spring.

A special celebration is also being planned for the Crawford Langstaff Parkette when the weather warms up.
