All was quiet at Chatham-Kent’s mass vaccination clinic over the weekend after supplies of COVID-19 vaccine ran dry.

However, Chief Medical Officer Dr. David Colby says another delivery is expected today, with appointments resuming tomorrow.

Among those to be vaccinated this week include First Nation, Inuit, Metis and Urban Indigenous Adults 16 and older – bookings will open on Wednesday at 9:30. A pair of outreach clinics are also being planned for Indigenous adults, one at the Ska:Na Family Learning Center in Chatham, the other at the CK Community Health Centre in Wallaceburg.

Meantime, Chatham-Kent’s mobile outreach teams were able to continue their work over the weekend, visiting retirement homes across the community.
