More details have been released following a fire south of Chatham.
Crews responded to Veolia Environmental Services shortly before 7 o’clock Wednesday morning after fire broke out in a storage facility.
In all, 35 fire fighters from Stations 1, 15, and 16 doused the flames. Officials say their quick action prevented any dangerous or toxic smoke from spreading around the immediate area.
The cause has been listed as undetermined with damages pegged at $15,000.
