The Down River Band is back with two brand new tunes.
“Maggie’s Mountain” and “Turning Wheels” are officially available on all major streaming platforms starting Wednesday, March 17th. 99.1 is giving you a sneak peek at both tracks this week on The #Spotlight!
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, The Down River Band had taken home first place in “The Bout” – a well known independent band contest in Toronto consisting of 115 other acts. As winners of the contest, The DRB took home a cheque for $12,000, $5K in promotions and media and studio time with Trouble Town Records in Toronto.
With roots “down river” in Corunna, Mooretown, Courtright and Port Lambton, the local band is currently paddling hard!
