The investigation continues into a suspicious package found in south-west Chatham.
Chatham-Kent Police and the OPP explosive disposal unit responded to a home on Park Avenue West Monday afternoon.
Residents in the immediate area were evacuated and traffic was blocked off between Wedgwood Boulevard and O’Neil Street for hours.
The package was deemed dangerous and police say the device was disabled.
Those who were evacuated returned to their homes around 10 o’clock last night.
