Construction of the new Monsignor Uyen Catholic School in Chatham is right on schedule.

The former Our Lady of Fatima site is being renovated into the new home for Monsignor Uyen and is on track to be mostly finished by July 23rd.

Elements near completion include administrative offices, classrooms, gymnasium and learning commons.  Exterior features such as rear asphalt parking lot, landscaping, and outdoor classroom are to be completed in August.

Formerly Our Lady of Fatima, the newly rebuilt school will take on the Uyen name, school history, and traditions.

When staff and students of the school relocate to the new site on Baldoon Road, officials say all of its history along with its name and traditions will move over to the new site.
