Vaccination Clinic in Blenheim, Active Cases Steady at 9

Chatham-Kent Public Health has set up shop in Blenheim this afternoon for a mobile vaccination clinic.

Shots will be doled out from 2-6:30pm at the Blenheim Memorial Arena.

The appointment-only clinic is using the Moderna mRNA vaccine, and is open to anyone 18 and older.

Checking in on Chatham-Kent’s COVID stats – there are still just nine active cases of the virus in the municipality.

Public Health is reporting one new infection today and one recovery.

In terms of vaccination rates, 75% of CK residents 18 and older have received at least one dose, and 55% are fully vaccinated with both shots. In the 12-17 age range, 48% have been given at least one shot.
