A call to police about a suspicious pair hanging around a Wallaceburg park has landed one man behind bars.
Officers arrived at King George Park on Nelson Street just before 6 Tuesday evening and tracked down a man and woman – authorities say the man was wanted by police in another jurisdiction.
He was arrested on outstanding warrants and was found carrying keys from a vehicle that had been stolen from the Niagara area and recently recovered in Wallaceburg.
The 34-year-old man from Niagara Falls is now facing charges of possession of stolen property and was held in custody overnight.
