An arrest has been made in connection to shoplifting at Walmart.

Authorities say the accused had already been banned from Chatham location, but was found Thursday morning after allegedly smuggling a pair of MP3 players out of the store. The 24-year-old is charged with theft, possession of stolen property, and breaking his release conditions.

Meantime, a Walpole Island woman is also facing several charges.

The 41-year-old was initially accused of stealing about $200 worth of groceries from No Frills in Wallaceburg. Police found the woman at Home Hardware, where she was taken into custody for theft and assaulting an employee.
