CK COVID Stats Up To 27 Active Cases

Chatham-Kent’s COVID numbers continue to climb.

Public Health is reporting 14 new cases since its last update on Friday morning. That breaks down to five cases confirmed on Friday, four Saturday, and another five on Sunday.

With five resolutions, the total number of active cases in the municipality is up to 27. That’s the highest it’s been since mid-to-late May.

Ontario’s numbers continue to rise across the province as well, with 526 new cases reported today. The Ministry of Health says 353 of those new cases are among unvaccinated residents and 60 are partially vaccinated.

119 patients are being treated for COVID-19 in ICUs across Ontario, however the government says not all hospitals submit data on weekends.
