Arrests Made After ATV Stolen in Wallaceburg

An arrest has been made in connection to a stolen ATV in Wallaceburg.

The machine was taken from a garage on Hiram Street in Wallaceburg over the weekend, but police say around 10:30 Sunday morning, a man and woman were spotted with the stolen vehicle at a home on Dufferin.

After the man allegedly gave officers a fake name, police were able to make a proper ID, and the 31-year-old from Walpole Island is now facing charges of possession of stolen property and obstructing police.

The woman, a 26-year-old from Wallaceburg, is also charged with possession of stolen property.

Both the accused will be back in court next month.
