A hardware chain is helping to support non-profit groups across the country, including several in southwestern Ontario.
The Lowe’s Canada Heroes campaign runs throughout the month of September, with customers at Lowes and Rona invited to make donations to causes selected by their local store.
Proceeds from the Chatham Rona store support CK Hospice, Lowe’s in Sarnia is helping the Lambton-Kent branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association, and the Wallaceburg Rona donations will go to the Salvation Army.
Lowe’s Canada will match 50% of the funds raised by participating locations, up to $2000 per store.
