The municipality is now accepting funding applications for community events planned in 2022.
Applications can now be sent to the Together CK Grant’s Program with funds to be allocated by council.
Groups can apply for funding of up to 50% of an event’s cost to a maximum of $5,000. Significant events, for example those with attendance in excess of 25,000, can quality for up to 50% of expenses for the first $10,000 of the budget and 25% percentage of the balance of the budget, to a maximum of $25,000.
Information sessions on the process begin Wednesday at 11 am, and October 6th at 6 pm. To attend one of the sessions, email ckpartnership@chatham-kent.ca to receive call in instructions.
