Charges have been laid following a domestic incident in Chatham.
Chatham-Kent Police were called to a home last night after an argument turned physical.
Police say the man involved wasn’t hurt, but the woman was taken to hospital, treated, and released.
Both are now facing charges.
A 25-year-old man of no fixed address has been charged with assault causing bodily harm and two counts of failing to comply with probation orders, which were supposed to stop him from communication with the woman or going to her home.
A 27-year-old woman is charged with assault with a weapon, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
