Canada Wide Arrest Warrant Issued After Body Found In Watford Landfill

A Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued for Phuong Tan Nguyen, left, wanted for two counts of first degree. Nguyen is believed to be armed and dangerous. A Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued after a body was recovered from a Lambton County landfill.
Reports indicate that a body was found at Twin Creeks Landfill and Environmental Centre in Watford.
Authorities believe the body to be connected to the case of a missing Markham couple. 37-year-old Quoc Tran and 25-year-old Kristy Nguyen were last seen near a shopping centre in Vaughn on September 18th.
Police are not currently providing information in regards to which body was recovered.
Phuong Tan Nguyen of Toronto is wanted for two counts of first-degree murder and is believed to be armed and dangerous. Police advise the public to not approach him, but instead call 911 immediately. Authorities are also reminding members of the public that anyone who assists the suspect may face criminal charges themselves.
A second suspect, Recaldo Liburd, was found on Wednesday and now faces two counts of accessory after the fact of murder.
Police also believe there is still a second body to be found at the Watford landfill.
According to police reports, the missing Markham couple are believed to be victims of foul play in a targeted attack.
