Down to 110 COVID Cases in CK, CKHA Treating 11 COVID Patients

After a spike over the weekend, Chatham-Kent’s COVID stats have slipped down again.

Public Health is reporting 11 new infections and 23 cases resolved, lowering the total active caseload to 110. 

Officials are keeping tabs on seven outbreaks in the community, six of which are in local schools, the other at Copper Terrace Long Term Care.  

There are now 11 COVID patients being treated at the Health Alliance, six of whom are in the ICU. 

Eight of the 10 intensive care beds are full. Occupancy of hospital’s medical, surgical, and critical care beds is up to 95.6%
