A Walpole Island man is facing several charges after a traffic stop.
On October 28th, members of the Walpole Island Police Service spotted a vehicle driving erratically on River Road North.
Authorities say the man behind the wheel put up a fight when officers tried to take him into custody. Police say the accused was carrying suspected cocaine at the time of the arrest, and damaged the police cruiser.
The 43-year-old is charged with resisting a peace officer, two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm, drug possession, and mischief over $5000.
