Chatham-Kent Fire & Emergency Services is looking for residents’ input as the organization works on a Fire Master Plan, outlining emergency services for the next decade.
Assistant Fire Chief Adam Walters says the Fire Master Plan will be formed by the Community Risk Assessment, legislation, industry best practices, Fire & Emergency Services, and community input.
The goal is to enhance the use of the three lines of defense of public education and prevention, fire safety standards and code enforcement, and emergency response.
