A drunken run through a cornfield has landed a local man with charges.
Police were called out to Centre Side Road around 4 o’clock Sunday morning and say an intoxicated 18-year-old man had been causing a disturbance inside the home.
The man fled into a nearby cornfield, but was later tracked down by police and arrested for public intoxication.
He was held in custody until he sobered up.
