Charges have been laid following a shoplifting complaint in Chatham.
Police were called to Home Hardware on Keil Drive yesterday. A 37-year-old woman is now facing charges of theft, possession of stolen property, and uttering threats.
Meantime, officers are investigating a pair of break-ins.
Someone forced their way into Geeks and Things on James Street in Wallaceburg, getting away with electronics and game cards. And an employee showed up to work at a St Clair Street business in Wallaceburg to find the front door smashed in. It’s not believed anything was taken in that case.
Anyone with information in either case is asked to call Chatham-Kent Police or Crime Stoppers.
