A Chatham woman is facing charges, accused of stealing from the Real Canadian Superstore in Chatham.
Chatham-Kent Police were called to the St Clair Street grocery store on Monday afternoon, and claim the accused left the store after concealing a number of items and made no effort to pay.
The 34-year-old was arrested a short distance away, and now faces charges of theft, possession of stolen property under $5000.
Police say the suspect was already under a court order preventing her from going to the store, and is also facing a charge of failing to comply with her release conditions.
She was held in custody for a bail hearing.
