School Buses Cancelled Across CK

School buses in zones 1-8 in Chatham-Kent and Lambton County are cancelled today because of the weather.

That includes the Lambton-Kent District School Board, St Clair Catholic District School Board, and Conseil scolaire catholique Providence.

All schools remain open, however secondary school students will be shifted to online learning for the day.

It’s the second snow day for many students in the region. Buses in zones 1-7 were cancelled pre-emptively Wednesday morning before the storm moved in.

The University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus, meantime, is closed today for staff and students. Classes will be delivered online for students studying in Ridgetown. Officials say students studying in Clinton will learn face-to-face at REACH Huron.

All St. Clair College campuses are open today with normal scheduled class delivery.

Wallaceburg Christian School is closed for the day.

For students on Walpole Island, due to poor road conditions and potential for additional snowfall today, it has been decided to close both BK & AK for today. Since Friday is a PA Day, both schools will reopen on Monday.
