Fewer CK Residents Hospitalized for COVID-19

COVID numbers at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance continue their downward trend.

There are now 14 patients in hospital with COVID-19, five of whom are being treated primarily for the virus. There are a total of four COVID patients receiving the highest levels of care – three in the ICU and one in the progressive care unit.

A broader look at COVID across Chatham-Kent will be released by the Public Health Unit on Wednesday.

Across Ontario, there are currently 1550 people hospitalized with COVID-19, 54% who were admitted because of the virus. 384 people are being treated in ICUs province-wide.

19 more Ontarians have lost their lives to the virus.
