Over $10,000 worth of drugs has been taken off the streets after a bust in Chatham.
Officers carried out a search warrant at a Mary Street home last night and seized roughly $10,400 worth of fentanyl, along with an undisclosed amount of cash, set of digital scales, and packaging materials.
A 45-year-old Chatham man was arrested and is now facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and failing to comply with previous release conditions. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
A 29-year-old Chatham woman has also been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking. She was released with a date in court on March 24th.
