A Lambton OPP officer is recovering from drug exposure during a traffic stop.
A suspected stolen vehicle was pulled over in Thedford on Monday, officers seized a replica firearm and suspected fentanyl.
Shortly after, one of the investigating officers began experiencing symptoms of contacting the drug and had had to be taken to hospital.
The officer was monitored and later released.
The suspect, a North Middlesex man, is facing 10 charges including various theft, drug, and weapons related offences.
