Fewer COVID Patients at CKHA

The number of COVID patients at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance continues to fall.

There are now nine COVID patients receiving treatment, five of whom were admitted primarily because of the virus.

Two of the nine are in critical care: one in ICU, one in the hospital’s progressive care unit.

Across Ontario, 644 people are hospitalized with COVID-19, 199 of whom are in intensive care.

A closer look at COVID trends and outbreaks in Chatham-Kent will be released by Public Health on Friday.
