35 New COVID Cases Identified in Chatham-Kent

A jump in new COVID cases in Chatham-Kent over the last few days.

Public Health is reporting 35 new cases from residents in high risk settings, raising the seven day average to 12 new cases a day.

Four COVID outbreaks remain active, one at a group home and three affecting retirement residences in Chatham, Wallaceburg, and Tilbury.

There are five CK residents being treated primarily for COVID at the Health Alliance.

Across Ontario, 615 are hospitalized with COVID-19, 193 of whom are in intensive care.
