Prisoner Flies Into a Rage at Police Headquarters

Charges have been laid against a Chatham man, who allegedly flew into a rage at police headquarters over the weekend.

The man was preparing to go before a justice of the peace on Saturday, but according to Chatham-Kent Police, when told he would be released from custody, the accused allegedly became upset and kicked a door, causing damage.

The 36-year-old was arrested again, this time charged with mischief under $5000, and held in custody for another bail hearing.
