Charges have been laid after a Chatham man allegedly threatened his parents with a knife.
Officers were called to a home in the north end of the city just after 7:30 last night after an argument between the three turned violent.
The suspect had left the home by the time police arrived, but was found a short distance away.
The 40-year-old is now facing charges of assault with a weapon, uttering threats, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and disobeying a court order.
He was taken to police headquarters for a bail hearing.
