A Wallaceburg man is facing charges after a disagreement over a vehicle turned violent.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said a man and a woman were arguing about the vehicle at a business on Lowe Street in Wallaceburg on Thursday at around 5:30 p.m. The situation escalated when the man forcefully pulled the woman from the vehicle and drove away.
Police were called and following an investigation, learned that this had not been the first time the man had become violent.
A few hours after the incident, a 37-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and two counts of assault.
