Wheatley Man Allegedly Caught With Stolen Property

A Wheatley man is facing charges after several stolen vehicles were recovered in the town of Essex.

The Ontario Provincial Police said the Community Street Crime Unit executed a search warrant at a Ridge Road property on Thursday, locating several stolen items including a Bobcat excavator, multiple pickup trucks, and a trailer.

As a result, a 49-year-old Wheatley man is charged with two counts of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000. He has been released from custody with a future court date.
