Charges have been laid following a domestic dispute in Chatham.

According to Chatham-Kent Police, a man and woman got into an argument on King Street East on May 13th. The man is accused of throwing items at the woman, causing minor injuries, and damaging her front door.

The man left before officers arrived and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

On Tuesday, the accused turned himself in at police headquarters. The 36-year-old is charged with mischief, assault with a weapon, and assault.

He was released from custody with conditions, and will appear in court June 14th.
