Several municipal services will be closed for the Victoria Day holiday on Monday, May 23.
Entegrus and the Public Utilities Commission will be closed on Monday, along with the Provincial Offences Court, and all branches of the Chatham-Kent Public Library.
The Health and Family Services Building, the Public Health clinic on King Street, and the Emergency Rapid Rehousing Program will also be closed for Victoria Day.
All Ride CK Transit services will not be operating.
The Blenheim Gable Rees Rotary Pool and Wallaceburg Sydenham Pool will not be open for swimming on Monday, and all municipal arenas will be closed.
Waste and recycling collection will be delayed by one day for the whole week of May 23. While the Harwich and Wallaceburg Transfer Stations will be closed, all other transfer stations will be open during regular hours on Monday. All leaf and yard depots will be closed.
Some services at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance will also be affected by the holiday.
While some outpatient diagnostic tests will take place, oncology, ambulatory care, outpatient rehabilitation, pre-surgical screening, the diabetes education centre, the TIA and CAD clinics, the pulmonary function lab, outpatient lab, health records and patient appointment offices will all be closed.
The Chatham-Kent Mental Health and Addictions Program Outpatient Department will be closed, along with the Rapid Access to Addiction Medicine clinic.
Hemodialysis Care and the COVID-19 Assessment Centre at 10 Grand Avenue in Chatham will remain open.
The Emergency Departments at the Chatham and Wallaceburg sites will also remain open 24 hours daily.
