Two youths have been arrested after another threatening message was discovered at a school within the Lambton Kent District School Board.

Officials say Sarnia police and the public board began an investigation after the message was found at Northern Collegiate in Sarnia at the end of the day on Wednesday.

All classes were shifted online today as a result of the threat.

The Sarnia Police Service announced Thursday afternoon that two youths have been arrested in connection to the threat.

Police officials said investigators believe this was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to staff and students at the school.

It’s been one week since threatening graffiti was discovered in a washroom at Lambton Central Collegiate and Vocational Institute in Petrolia. A 16-year-old is now facing charges in connection to that incident.

Authorities say this most recent disturbing message was specific to NCIVS, and does not extend to any other schools in the region.

“Student and staff safety are a top priority for the LKDSB and we work with local police to determine the appropriate actions to ensure school safety,” said Education Director John Howitt.
