Chatham-Kent is in for another couple days of sweltering hot weather.
Environment Canada has issued a heat warning for Chatham-Kent with the temperatures expected to be near 31 C on Monday and Tuesday. With the humidex, the temperature will be in the 40s.
There will also be little relief in the evening with the lows only expected to drop to around 21 C.
The heat will taper off Tuesday evening.
The weather agency is reminding residents that deteriorating air quality can cause risks for young children, pregnant women, and older adults, people with chronic illnesses.
Everyone should drink plenty of water and refrain from leaving pets inside parked vehicles.
