Chatham-Kent Loses Another Local Resident to COVID-19

One more local resident has succumbed to COVID-19, bringing the total number of lives lost to the virus to 80 since March, 2020.

The latest update from CK Public Health also includes 41 high risk cases identified between June 26th and July 2nd, with the seven-day average holding steady at six new cases a day.

Chatham-Kent’s positivity rate now sits at 6.7%, compared to the provincial rate of 8.8%.

Public Health officials are still keeping tabs on an outbreak of the virus at Tilbury Manor Nursing Home, with a total of 30 linked cases since June 21st.
