CKHA Welcomes Four New Physicians

Four new doctors have been added to the roster at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA).

Dr. Elyse Epp, Dr. Matthew VanTil, Dr. Matt Milkovic and Dr. Raid Shaarbaf were all welcomed by the hospital on Tuesday.

“Their skills and knowledge will make a positive impact on the delivery of safe, high-quality care,” said Dr. Pervez Faruqi, the chief of staff at CKHA.

Dr. Epp, who is joining Emergency Medicine at the hospital, attended the University of Guelph earning a Bachelor of Science with Distinction, before completing her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Toronto.

Dr. VanTil, who is originally from Blenheim, will join the Emergency Department. He earned his Doctor of Medicine and completed his Family Medicine Residency in Chatham-Kent.

Also joining the Emergency Department is Dr. Milkovic who earned a Bachelor of Medicine from Graduate Entry Medical School at the University of Limerick in Limerick, Ireland. Dr. Milkovic is also originally from Chatham-Kent.

Dr. Shaarbaf started his medical education by earning his medical degree in Baghdad, Iraq. He then completed his Internal Medicine Residency Program at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia. He is joining the Internal Medicine Department.
