A winner has been announced in the CKHA Foundation’s Igniting Healthcare 50/50 draw. Chatham’s Mike Veres and his wife Wendy were the lucky recipients of a cheque for $126,840 dollars.

They are annual supporters of the fundraiser and fortunately purchased their tickets the morning of the draw.

Proud parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents, the couple plans to use their winnings to help their family, travel, and buy a new vehicle.

This is the 4th year for the CHKA Foundation 50/50 draw, which has raised a total of $1,160,300 since its inception in 2019 with half of those funds supporting life-saving equipment for the hospitals in Chatham and Wallaceburg.

This year’s proceeds will support the purchase of two new Pulmonary Function Tests, one each for the two CKHA sites.
