A domestic dispute turned violent in Dresden Thursday night.
Police were called to a home around 8 o’clock and say the woman fled the home for her own safety, but when she got to her vehicle, the man followed her out of the house waving a running chainsaw.
The man was later found and arrested without incident. Investigators say the accused also damaged the windshield of the woman’s vehicle during a previous incident.
The 33-year-old Thamesville man is facing charges of mischief, uttering threats, and weapons offences.
He was taken to police headquarters and held for a bail hearing.
