Some good news on Chatham-Kent’s COVID front as one of the outbreaks at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance has been declared over.

There have been a total of 19 cases of health-care acquired COVID in the Medicine 1 unit since July 22nd. 

CKHA officials say infection prevention and control measures will remain in place across the organization as CKHA continues to review and monitor the impact of the pandemic on its operations. 

A second outbreak in the Chatham hospital’s Medicine 2 unit, declared August 4th remains in place.
