A crash near Alvinston has claimed a life.
According to Lambton OPP, a passenger vehicle and transport collided on Courtright Line near Inwood Road shortly after 10 o’clock Tuesday morning, sending six people to hospital.
The driver of the transport, identified as 67-year-old Carmon Wilcox of St Thomas, was pronounced dead a short time later.
Courtright Line remained closed until early this morning once the scene had been cleared.
The investigation remains ongoing.
