A woman is facing charges after an alleged shoplifting incident in Chatham.
Officers were called to a St Clair Street business over the weekend and say a woman was arrested for theft.
However, during the investigation, authorities claim the accused gave police a fake name and was found to have an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court.
The accused now also faces charges of obstructing a police officer and was released on bail with a date in court in October.
