Public Input Sought On New Communication Plan For CK

How the Municipality of Chatham-Kent communicates with local residents is the subject of a new public survey.

The online survey has been launched to gauge the current effectiveness of how the municipality communicates information, in an effort to provide the most relevant, accurate, accessible, and timely information to residents and visitors.

“We recognize the growing demand for open and two-way communication, as well as the importance of listening to our citizens, gathering feedback and expanding the use of technology in accessing information,” the municipality said in a news release.

The survey will form the basis of a new Corporate Communication Plan for 2023 to 2026, and will set standards for future communication practices.

“This Corporate Communication Plan will be a living document and will be reviewed and updated annually as part of our commitment to continuously improve service and will support communication practices and influence communications-related policies and procedures,” the municipality said.

Those who wish to take part in the survey can do so online at the Let’s Talk Chatham-Kent website.
