Two drivers have been slapped with charges, accused of whipping down the 401.
According to Provincial Police, the first was clocked going 181 km/hr shortly after 9 Friday night. A 45-year-old Toronto resident has been charged with stunt driving.
Less than four hours later, officers spotted another vehicle travelling at 170 km/hr. In that case, a 20-year-old from Blenheim was charged with stunt driving, and being a young driver with a blood alcohol level above zero.
In both cases, the drivers were issued 30 day license suspensions and 14 day vehicle impoundment.
Both of the accused will have to appear in court at a later date to answer to the charges.
