Veteran’s week across Canada is coming up, and members of the Royal Canadian Legion Zone 3 recently gathered at the Civic Centre to raise the flag.
A major part of the week leading up to Remembrance Day is the sale of poppies.
The sale has begun at more than 100 locations across the community with all proceeds going to fund programs that directly help veterans and their families.
Veteran’s Week begins November 5th. Remembrance Day is November 11th.
