Emergency crews have responded to a collision involving a transport truck south of Thamesville.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service reported the crash at the intersection of Scane Road and Selton Line on Thursday shortly after 1 p.m.
According to police, a transport truck carrying a load of corn overturned at the intersection, damaging hydro lines.
Authorities have not released any information about possible injuries caused by the collision.
Hydro One has dispatched a repair crew to the area to address a power outage that is affecting around 170 customers.
The intersection is expected to remain closed until after 3 p.m. as the transport truck is cleared from the scene and the hydro lines are repaired. Drivers are asked to find an alternate route.
