Wallaceburg Bodybuilders Shine At National Competition

Two Wallaceburg natives are being celebrated for their performance in recent national bodybuilding competitions.

Colleen Barnier and Lisa Holland took part in the Canadian Physique Alliance King Kong Open Championships on November 12 and the King Kong Natural Classic on November 13. Both events were held in Toronto.

Barnier earned gold in the Masters Bikini division (45+) at the Open Championships and then placed second in the Masters Bikini division (45+) at the Natural Classic.

Holland took home silver in the Masters Bikini division (35+) at the Open Championships and then placed fifth in the Masters Bikini division (35+) at the Natural Classic.

The King Kong championships are the most competitive natural events in the country featuring natural fitness, bodybuilding, classic physique, men’s physique, as well as figure and bikini athletes.
